What is reality? Neurobiologist and actor Yvain Juillard glides from lecture to performance as he explores our brain and our multiple perceptions of what is real, in this inventive, mind-expanding show.
What if reality were only a figment of our imagination? Bridging the divide between art and science, Juillard speaks directly to everyone listening, embarking with them on an investigation of the human brain, an organ that is so familiar yet so mysterious. He makes us realise the extent to which aspects of daily life that we find normal are, in fact, very odd, and that as humans, we are all “reality makers”.
An exceptional storyteller with a mischievous wit, he combs through our billions of neurons, leaving no stone unturned, in an entertaining lecture that humorously questions our conditioning and free will through simple yet captivating demonstrations. With Cerebrum, Juillard offers a one-of-a-kind lecture performance that is, much like himself, passionate and fascinating!
