The 9th of November marks the large-scale launch of Exploring the Invisible, the momentous arts and sciences series at Némo 2021, featuring music theatre, installations, an exhibition, a debate, and an outdoor show of artworks. The programme was developed by Biennale Némo, the Scène de Recherche theatre at ENS Paris-Saclay, La Diagonale University of Paris-Saclay, the Siana festival, the Arts & Sciences Chair at École polytechnique, École des Arts Décoratifs-PSL, and Fondation Daniel et Nina Carasso.


The programme for the event, which will be held in the sculpture garden and unique building designed by architect Renzo Piano:

  • Arrival of the travelling work Passengers by Guillaume Marmin
  • Instabilités, an audiovisual performance by Tristan Ménez and Benjamin Le Baron
  • Radical Choreographic Object, a performance by Sarah Fdili Alaoui
  • Second Dispute scientific debate with AgroParisTech: Invisible Animal
  • La Tempête, a production by director and videographer Véronique Caye
  • Installations: La Ligne Rouge by Filipe Vilas-Boas, Rêve quantique by Virgile Novarina, Walid Breidi and Labofactory (Jean-Marc Chomaz and Laurent Karst)
  • Homogenitus by Marie-Julie Bourgeois (work in progress)
  • Scène de lumière by Éric Michel with students from the Institut d’optique Graduate School and ENS Paris-Saclay
  • Exhibition of “1% artistique” works with Jean-Marie Appriou, Matali Crasset, Tobias Pils, and more
    Guitares augmentées by Nicolas Perrin with students from ENS and Polytech Paris-Saclay
